STEP IT STEP | We have been teaching since 1999. High-quality IT-education for adults and children. We prepare programmers, designers and system engineers who cannot be replaced by artificial intelligence. In order to achieve this, we teach how to understand tasks, run projects and work in a team, in addition to core knowledge.

The Main Idea of our STEAM Journey Program

Fall
in love with STEM

Fall in love with STEM

Our program’s main idea is to make kids enjoy every single class. At this age, children are discovering their interests, so it's crucial to inspire their enthusiasm and show them that STEM is the way to go

Lots of hands-on

Children at this age learn best through hands-on experiences, where they can see, touch, and interact directly with real-world objects. That's why each class is designed to be a hands-on experience, allowing kids to actively build and create with their own hands

Well-balanced program

Every year of our STEM program is a combination of four pillars: robotics, programming, game development, and creativity. This combination allows kids to feel all the versatility of STEM field and maybe decide on their future occupation

Small groups

Our groups are maximum 8 students that allows our instructors to focus on every child in the class and assure they are all on track and progress with the class

Program Curriculum

To enroll in our STEM program your child should be at least in first grade. If you're not yet in first grade, the earliest program available for enrollment is our Summer Camp for grades 1-2, open in the summer for incoming first graders. Our program spans three years. Please review the curriculum below to determine the appropriate class for enrollment.

Curriculum based on an adaptive approach and gamification
Our education process is based on principles that student should become independent in making decisions still be able to work in a team to finish the class assignments. These are very practical skills useful in future
Online student MyStat account
Kids and parents can access their online MyStat account to see grades, class materials, class schedule, teacher feedbacks, etc.
Internal currency StepCoin
Every student is awarded virtual money for their educational and behavior success in the class. Kids can purchase various prizes like headphones, t-shirts, Xbox controllers etc. in the internal store accessible through MyStat account.

Today it is impossible to imagine a child without a gadget

But after all, a computer and a smartphone are much more than social networks and games. It is an opportunity for interesting and engaging learning of in-demand practical skills.

Even at 7-9 years old, your child can learn the basics of programming, design, and making photos and videos. This can become a real hobby and help them figure out what they enjoy doing.

Frequently asked questions

How many children are in a group?

Each of our class in STEAM Journey is 6-8 kids which enables our instructors to pay an individual attention to each child

Can I join a trial class?

Yes, we offer free trial classes for existing groups (you can’t schedule a trial to a future class that is in open enrollment now). Contact us and we’ll be happy to schedule a trial class for your child.

What tools and gadgets do you use?

The STEAM Journey program incorporates a wide array of educational tools, including various sets from Lego Education (such as WeDo and Machines & Mechanics), products from Makeblock (including mBot, Neuron, and xLight), as well as Hue, Kubo, and numerous others.

What should I do if my child is missing the class?

We do not offer any make up classes for this program, we try to keep each lesson independent so if your child miss the class it’s not going to affect much the next class performance.

Is it possible to change the schedule?

We usually have multiple classes for each year of STEAM Journey program, please reach out to us and we’ll see if we can accommodate a schedule change.

What enrollment process looks like?
